I’m Jamie Reingold, Founder of Louisa Co. Events
I remember as a little girl always wanting to help the adults in the kitchen at dinner time, or to lend a hand with folding laundry. It filled me with joy to be part of the process, and to be helpful.
So it probably won’t surprise you, then, that my love language is acts of service! I believe that the right things fit effortlessly, so I knew that a career in event planning was my calling because of how naturally making connections and planning comes to me.
I launched Louisa Co. Events because to me, event planning is less about completing a checklist and creating a timeline, and more about being of service and supporting my clients. Building strong client and vendor connections is not only my favorite part of the work, but also my super power!
When we work together, you’ll have more than just a planner. You’ll have a support system to usher you through the complex journey of planning your dream day, without any of the stress you’ve been worried about.

Let’s plan a wedding that’s not just witnessed but deeply felt by everyone present
More than vows and venues, it’s all about sharing the joy.
One of the wonderful things about being a wedding planner is that I know exactly how you feel.
After you get engaged, there are the equal parts of excitement and nervousness that start to come up.
As you dive into the process, you begin to grasp just how complicated it is to find, book, and coordinate the numerous vendors and elements of the day. (Not to mention figuring out how to herd your entire family together for photos!)
But I’m here to tell you that, although it can seem like a daunting task, wedding planning doesn’t have to be stressful and chaotic.
Having worked in planning for over a decade, I’m here to bring you true peace of mind so you can be completely present while you savor your well-deserved celebration.
Why Louisa Co. Events?
It all comes back to love, family, and lots of heart.
My grandmother, Louisa, is the inspiration behind everything I do.
She raised six children in the 1960s and 70s while running a very successful business in retail and real estate. In those years, women were not given many opportunities, so she created them all the while having never received a formal education.
It is my grandmother’s tenacity, strong work ethic, giving spirit, and sense of community that I seek to embody every day in my work.
Some people might see wedding planning as a stressful job, but to me, it’s an honor to offer you my complete support, and to help you begin married life with lots of ease and joy.

As we work together, I hold these values close.
-
I believe that the best events reflect the true personalities of the people celebrating them. From the big details all the way down to the small, personal touches, your story will be at the heart of your celebration.
-
I take the time to get to know you, understand what’s meaningful to you, and to bring that fully to life. I’m not just planning an event—I’m creating an experience that feels like an extension of yourself.
-
Your peace of mind is my top priority. I’m here to take the load off of your shoulders, handle all the details calmly and joyfully, and help you soak in every second of this magical time. (Not just your wedding day, but all of the months leading up to it!)
-
It’s the little things that make the big day so special. From remembering your grandmother's favorite song to ensuring your best friend's dietary needs are met, I plan your wedding with the same care and attention I’d give my own.

I’m passionate about creating things that are one of a kind—which, in addition to planning weddings, also explains my many hobbies such as pottery, tatting, bread making, and jewelry making. When I’m not at a wedding or in my home pottery studio creating fun vases and bowls, you will often find me planning my next trip to a culture-rich destination. I love to draw inspiration for my event design from my travels.
